I have been MIA lately due to computer/phone line issues. I think/hope that they finally fixed the problem. Now I just need Brianna to come and hook the DSL back up. Because I am technologically challenged.
Last Sunday we had kind of an eventful night. Scott and I had fallen asleep downstairs watching TV. I was woken up by this huge, and I mean huge boom. It shook the walls. And sent me into instant panic. I screamed at Scott that "the house just blew up!" In my defense, I was positive it had. I ran upstairs and got Tyler up. Scott looks around and sees nothing. By this time he is convinced that I was dreaming. I was shaking so bad and crying (my reaction to danger, I guess...lol) so I knew it was real. I made him keep looking. He went out back and said...."Oh, come here quick!" I assumed that the grill had blown up since we had cooked that night. Nope. At the edge of the tree line in the distance we could see smoke and flames. There is a small airport near us and planes have crashed before, so we thought it was that. We found out on the morning news that a chemical plant had caught fire and exploded.
The scary part of all of this: Scott and Tyler did not wake up from the noise. There is no way that a fire alarm, tornado siren, or a break in will ever wake them up. So now I feel like the guardian of the night. Or something.
Scott even had the nerve to make fun of me for being so panicked and waking him up. Hello, I thought THE HOUSE HAD EXPLODED.

Anyway, no one was killed in the explosion, thank goodness.
