welcome to my life...the story continues

Things are so quiet without Brianna here.
I do not miss their arguing at all : )
And I am glad I get to sleep in all this week instead of taking her to work.
Selfish reasons, I know. Trying to see the positive in this, though.

Tyler finally got the new phone he wanted. He even helped pay for it with his Christmas gift money. He also got a weight bench and a UFC heavy bag thing to work out with. Well, we can all use that stuff actually. He also got clothes. He picked them out. We went on one of Macy's big sale Saturdays and got a great deal on them. We also got him some of those Fathead sports sticker things for his room. Those things are freaking huge!!
Brianna got Tinkerbell stuff, clothes, stuffed animal hippos (she loves them), and a new I Love Lucy doll.
They really didn't get alot, but I couldn't see spending alot with the economy the way it is. Not to mention Scott went every time I shopped and muttered about the bad economy every few minutes or so.
Brianna got me the first 5 seasons of The Waltons. Go ahead, laugh. But I love that show! She also got me 2 new books.
I got Scott a new coffeemaker, a griddle thing since he loves to make breakfast, and some beer mugs. I know...I am such a romantic gift giver, aren't I? LOL
I tried to return stuff last weekend but the stores were packed. It was worse than before the holiday. We did go to Lowe's and get more houses/buildings for my Christmas village. And they were 75% off...gotta love that!!!!
I still have not made my Christmas cookies. I think I am going to bake them and drop them off to people on New Year's Day. If I don't bake....I am going to have an overload of flour, sugars, and stuff here.
I dropped off my dad's gifts over the weekend. I got him lots of light bulbs (his kitchen and dining area were all out and he didn't ever go out and replace them) and a reed diffuser. I am the queen of practical gifts, I think.
I made up with my sister...kind of. A truce, I guess. I dropped off gifts for my nephews...football jerseys (Brett Favre Jets jersey and an Ian Manning jersey).
I think Tyler is going to a party tomorrow night. Scott and I never go out anymore. Probably because the only friends we have are co-workers or family...lol.
