My doctor must hate me.
Because he is torturing me.
He put me on Cymbalta. He even gave me a month's supply. He neglected to tell me that there was 1 week of 30 mg., and 3 weeks of 60 mg. Well, I took the 60 mg. first. That was a fun night. The symptoms I have are vomiting and insomnia. Good times, good times. I took the 30 mg. today and the nausea still hit me 4 hours after I took it. I have never had this much trouble starting a new med. Now I feel sick and I don't know if it's a real sick or just a new med sick. Ugh.
My niece got whooping cough too. A mild case and she was already being treated for it. The stupid thing was that my sister was told the test was negative and then got called back saying it was positive. My dad is fine, thank goodness.
Tyler also got a letter saying there is an outbreak at his school. Good timing, ya know, since our vacation is soon. Our doctor called in an antibiotic and we have to go get booster vaccines. Not sure I want to do the vaccine thing since according to the CDC they are only effective for about 2-3 years anyway. My sister has talked to them and the health department all week since all of her kids got whooping cough.
The issues with Scott and the builder he works with got worked out, thank goodness. I just hope they continue to have work in the future.
My sister keeps bugging me to join Facebook. I did join for a day or two...but de-activated my account. I just don't get it. I guess I am not a networking type of gal. And twitter. I love to read them. I love the idea of it. I just can't think of anything so exciting in my life that I would need to tweet 30 times a day. Which some people do. I think I am getting old. I even call Tyler's music noise sometimes. When did this happen? lol
We just got a Sonic built here. Does anyone else have one near them? The food is okay...but they have slushies that are amazing. A strawberry limeade drink with real fruit in it. Lots of it. And they are half-price from 2-4 pm. My happy hour is now all about slushies. Yes, I do believe I have turned that corner to old age...lol.
Anyway, I am wandering verbally and mentally now so I will stop.
Have a great weekend everyone : )

They just built a Sonic here too...but still too far away from us. It is usually about an hour wait to go there...
I hope you start feeling better soon!! Did you call the doctor or just stop taking them?
You all must be getting so excited for your trip!! I am so glad to hear you dad is doing fine. :)
*hugs*
You are going to be fine! I know this because I want NOTHING to get in between you and DIsney! And I am trying to be good about the whoel vaccine things... but I just believe in my heart they are worse for you then the actual disease... do some research. DONT get the booster. Please? lol kidding Just go to mercola.com or NVIC and read what they say about vaccines...
Blessings-
Amanda
Oh man, sorry you're having trouble with your new med. Hopefully it will work it's way into your system and you'll feel great!
Thank God your neice only got a mild case of whooping cough. That is some nasty stuff.
Sonic rocks. I love their Cherry cokes, banana cream pie shakes, and their fresh fruit slushes.
Luv~Heather
